Dolphins Still Looking For Additional Help At WR

The Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are still in the market for adding to their receiving corps.

WR Anthony Armstrong has been signed, and Jabar Gaffney has been hosted for a workout after being released by the New England Patriots, but OC Mike Sherman said they’re still looking.

It’s a work in progress and will continue to be until we have solved that problem,” Sherman said. “I wouldn’t say it’s been solved. We’re working toward it. It’s got to be better for us to be successful.

Armando Salguero from the Miami Herald  reports that the Dolphins are monitoring WR Jabar Gaffney following his recent release from the Patriots.

Gaffney was somewhat of a surprising cut by the Patriots, but the has to do with a right thigh injury that he had been dealing with. Gaffney posted career highs last season while in Washington and ended up as the team leader in receiving yards with 947 yards.

Gaffney reportedly would prefer to wait and re-sign with New England at some point during the season, but nothing is imminent at this point.
