Dolphins Interviewing Dowell Loggains For HC Job

According to Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins plan to interview OC Dowell Loggains for their head-coaching vacancy on Friday.

Jeff Darlington reported shortly after the Jets hired Adam Gase that Loggain was expected to join his staff in New York.

Loggains, 38, began his NFL coaching career with the Titans as an offensive quality control coordinator back in 2008. He managed to work his way up to offensive coordinator before joining the Browns’ coaching staff in 2014.

After one year with the Browns, Loggains was hired as the Bears QBs coach and eventually promoted to offensive coordinator two years ago. The Dolphins hired him as their offensive coordinator last year.

In 2018, the Dolphins’ offense ranked No. 31 in total yards, No. 26 in points scored, No. 18 in rushing yards and No. 30 in passing yards.
