Dolphins Monitoring CB Leon Hall

According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are showing patience with free agent CB Leon Hall, who is trying to maximize what could be hisĀ final contract in the NFL.

The Dolphins could really use some help at cornerback,Ā and there’s an obvious connection toĀ new Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph from their time together inĀ Cincinnati.

Hall previously made an average base salary ofĀ $9.75 million over the past few years, but Salguero mentions that he may have to take around 50-60 percent of this figure in his next deal, and begin playing more slot corner.

If Hall were to lower his asking price, Salguero believes the Dolphins would have interest.

Hall, 31, is former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2007. He has spent all nine years of his NFL career with the Bengals and is now among the best available cornerbacks in this year’s market.

In 2015, Hall appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and recorded 55 tackles, two interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, and nine pass defenses.

We have himĀ featuredĀ in ourĀ Best Available Free Agents list.
