Dolphins Not Sold On Greg Jennings?

Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin is not a “huge fan” of free agent WR Greg Jennings as a player.

McGinn also reported that an AFC executive informed him that Jennings is likely to command a deal that would pay him $7-9 million annually.

The Packers are reportedly considering whether or not to use their franchise tag on Jennings. McGinn adds that Green Bay could try to deal him after franchising him, but it’s hard to say that any team would be willing to part with a high draft pick in return for the right to sign him to a long-term extension.

The Dolphins have been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Jennings for a number of months now, but they appear to have more interest in Mike Wallace, despite the obvious connection between Philbin and Jennings.

We have Jennings listed as the No. 10 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
