Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross Undecided About Making Changes

A league source with knowledge of the situation tells Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk that Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is undecided about whether he’ll make changes to the team after the season and to what extent those changes would be.

If the Dolphins are able to make the playoffs, Florio says it would go a long way towards Ross sticking with the status quo. However, should Miami miss the postseason, Florio says things could be up for discussions when it comes to Mike Tannenbaum, Chris Grier, and Adam Gase.

One thing that could help the current regime, according to Florio, is the fact that they’ve encountered numerous and various types of adversity in the past two years and the team continues to fight for wins.

Florio mentions that the Dolphins had a tough time luring notable candidates to Miami before they hired Gase and it’s possible an overhaul could prevent them landing an “A” list target.

There has been some buzz about the Dolphins having interest in current Ravens HC John Harbaugh should he be available after the season, given that he has ties to Ross.

However, it remains to be seen whether Ross will seriously consider making any notable moves.

We’ll have more regarding the Dolphins as the news is available.
