The Miami Dolphins announced Thursday that they’ve promoted G Jamil Douglas to their active roster ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Bengals.
We have signed guard Jamil Douglas from our practice squad to the active roster.

There was some speculation in recent days that Douglas could be called up, given the injuries Miami is currently dealing on their offensive line.
Douglas, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Dolphins back in May of last year. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2,798,564 contract and stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.
The Dolphins elected to waive Douglas coming out of the preseason but he was signed to their practice squad just a day later.
In 2015, Douglas appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins.
