Dolphins Promote LB Mike Hull, Waive DT A.J. Francis

The Miami Dolphins announced that they’ve promoted LB Mike Hull from their practice squad and waived DT A.J. Francis to make room for him.

Francis, 25, signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland back in 2013. He was unable to make the 53-man roster during his rookie and was waived at the start of the season.

The Patriots later claimed him off of waivers, but Francis elected to return to the Dolphins later on in 2013 before signing one-year, $510,000 contract with Miami back in March.

This season, Francis has appeared in one game and recorded a single tackle for the Dolphins.

Hull, 24, signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in March. He was among the Dolphins’ final roster cuts, but was added to their practice squad a few days later.

Hull has yet to appear in an NFL game.
