The Dolphins announced Saturday that they have promoted WR Matt Hazel from their practice squad and waived LB Jake Knott.

Hazel, 22, was the Dolphins sixth-round pick this past May, but he was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster, but was later signed to their practice squad.
At Coastal Carolina, Hazel caught 183 passes for 2,553 yards and 28 touchdowns over the course of four years.
Knott, 24, signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State last year. Philadelphia released him from their practice squad with an injury settlement back in October.
Knott later caught on with Miami and has appeared in one game, but has yet to record a single statistic this season.
