Dolphins QB Competition Is Currently “Wide Open”

Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin mentioned that the ongoing quarterback competition is currently “wide open.

We’re gonna kind of let this thing play itself out,” Philbin said, per Benjamin Volin.

Matt Moore and David Garrard have both been working with the first-team on alternating days, but first-round pick Ryan Tannehill has reportedly looked pretty good in his limited work. It seems like a safe bet that either Moore or Garrard with win the job in the next few weeks, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see Tannehill take over at some point in the season.
