Dolphins QB Conundrum

Yesterday reports mentioned that there are fears in Miami that Chad Henne could be lost for the season which has forced the team to look at all available options.

The Dolphins brought in a number of players for workouts today but it doesn’t appear that they were impressed enough to offer anyone a contract.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that it “doesn’t sound like the Dolphins are going to sign Trent Edwards, Brodie Croyle, David Garrard or Jake Delhomme.”

Well that basically accounts for nearly the entire group of free agent quarterbacks not including Dante Culpepper and Brett Favre.

David Garrard is said to be to expensive for the Dolphins.

Troy Smith could be an option but we’ve yet to hear any report connecting him to the Dolphins.

As of now Miami has Matt Moore pegged as their starting quarterback.
