Dolphins Re-Sign CB Zack Bowman

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the Miami Dolphins have already re-signed veteran CB Zack Bowman one day after he was among their final roster cuts.

Bowman, 30, is a former fifth round pick of the Bears back in 2008. He briefly played for the Vikings before returning to the Bears as an unrestricted free agent in 2012. The Giants later signed him to a contract in March of last year.

Miami wound up signing him to a contract a few weeks before this year’s NFL draft.

In 2014, Bowman appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and recorded 24 tackles, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 73 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.
