Dolphins Re-Sign ERFAs WR Matt Hazel & DB Tyler Patmon

The Miami Dolphins officially re-signed exclusive-rights free agents WR Matt Hazel and DB Tyler Patmon on Monday.

Patmon, 25, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in May of last year. He’s managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two years in the league.

However, Patmon was cut loose by the Cowboys in December before later signing on to the Dolphins’ practice squad.

In 2015, Patmon has appeared in 13 games and recorded 13 tackles, six pass defenses and 26 kick return yards for the Cowboys.

Hazel, 24, is a former the sixth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He spent his rookie season on the Dolphins’ practice squad, but managed to make the 53-man roster last year.

In 2015, Hazel was active for five games, but didn’t record a single statistic.
