Dolphins Re-sign RB Larry Johnson

Jason La Canfora of NFL.com tweets that the Miami Dolphins have decided to change their minds and bring back veteran RB Larry Johnson less than a week after releasing him.

Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald reports that Rookie RB Daniel Thomas suffered a hamstring injury during the teams practice.

By signing Johnson, the Dolphins have guaranteed his salary for the entire season so he figures to be an insurance policy at the very least.

As of now Miami has Reggie Bush, Daniel Thomas, Lex Hilliard and now Larry Johnson as their backfield.
