Dolphins Re-Sign S Louis Delmas To A One-Year Deal

Albert Breer of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins are-signed veteran S Louis Delmas.

  • Breer reports that Delmas receives a one-year contract worth up to $3.5 million.

Delmas, 27, was among the best safeties still available in free agency. He signed a one-year, $2.25 million contract with the Dolphins that included $1 million guaranteed after he was cut loose by the Dolphins.

In 2014, Delmas appeared in 13 games and recorded 60 tackles, one sack, one interception returned for a touchdown, two fumble recoveries, and three pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 51 safety out of 87 qualifying players.
