Dolphins’ RT Tyson Clabo Could Have A Better Than Expected Market

Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports that Dolphins free agent RT Tyson Clabo plans on testing the free agent market next week.

  • Beasley adds that there’s “real interest” in his services this year.

The Falcons elected to part ways with Clabo in April of last year. It took a month, but Clabo would later sign a one-year contract worth $3.5 million with the Dolphins.

He appeared in 15 games for Miami last year and rated as the No. 45 offensive tackle in the league last season, according to Pro Football Focus, so it’s a little surprising to hear that a market is already developing for him this early in the process.

  1. I would use him only as a back up and a locker room chaperon. He requires to much recoop time to play his best. What ever happened to the kid from Oakland 26 years old 6’8′ 313 pounds with a very long wing span? I liked him the best and he would have been cheaper than Albert…Watson I think is his name.

  2. He was terrible most of the year, but he did play better towards the end. As a Dolphins fan, I can say he single-handedly cost the Dolphins some games.

  3. This is pretty shocking since the dolphins traded for mckinnie last year so they could move JMart to RT and clabo to the bench. Only after Martin dipped did clabo come back to the line.
