Dolphins S Yeremiah Bell On The Chopping Block?

Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel writes that Dolphins S Yeremiah Bell could be a one of the players released in the coming months.

Kelly notes that despite leading Miami in tackles every year since 2008, Bell’s will require a $6.2 million cap hit in 2012 which makes him the fourth highest on the team’s books. Kelly adds that Bell would be smart to renegotiate his contract which would allow him to stay with the team but there are no guarantees that he’ll be willing to do so.

On top of that, NT Paul Soliai is expected to leave during free agency as the team begins to transition to a 4-3 scheme that incorporate more hybrid looks next season.
