Dolphins Prepared To Offer Reggie Bush A “Team Friendly” Deal

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald tweets that the Miami Dolphins intend to offer RB Reggie Bush a “team friendly” deal before he hits the open market in March.

Salguero adds that Bush might be able to secure a better deal from another team.

The Dolphins acquired bush back in 2011 when they completed a deal with Saints. Miami also has young, inexpensive running backs in Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller on their roster, so it’s not as though they absolutely need to have Bush back next season. Thomas is a pretty big question mark at this point, but Miller showed some ability towards the end of the season, so it would make sense for them to look for third running back if they end up passing on Bush.

We have Bush listed as the No. 45 best available player on our Top 50 Free Agents list.
