Dolphins Sign Fifth-Round Pick LB Jordan Tripp

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins have signed fifth-round pick LB Jordan Tripp to a four-year contract.

  • Tripp’s four-year contract is worth an estimated $2,382,800 which includes a signing bonus of $162,800, according to OverTheCap.com.

This is the first draft pick that the Dolphins have managed to sign since the draft concluded a few weeks ago. Some teams already have their entire class under contract, so it seems likely that Miami will start addressing more players in the coming days.

Tripp started 38 games for Montana over the course of his college career. He totaled 335 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, five forced fumbles, and five interceptions.
