Dolphins Sign LB Junior Sylvestre

The Miami Dolphins announced Saturday that they’ve signed LB Junior Sylvestre to a contract.

Sylvestre, 25, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in 2015. He spent the 2015 season on the injured reserve list and was later cut loose by the Colts coming out of the preseason last year.

The Bills signed Sylvestre to a contract this past April but waived him shortly after this year’s draft.

During his four-year college career, Sylvestre recorded 286 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, four recoveries, an interception and eight pass defenses.
