The Dolphins have now officially signed their entire 2016 draft class following this move.

Drake, 21, was selected with the No. 73 overall pick by the Dolphins over a month ago. While the Dolphins were clearly trying to find a running back in the free agent market, they struck out on some notable options and were forced to address the position in this year’s draft.

As of now, Drake is in the mix to be the Dolphins No. 2 running back behind Jay Ajayi. However, it would not be surprising to see Miami add a veteran at some point in the coming weeks.

According to OverTheCap.com, Drake receives a four-year contract worth $3,161,260 to go along with a signing bonus of $821,260.

During his four-year college career at Alabama, Drake ran for 1,495 yards on 233 carries (6.4 YPC) to go along with 46 receptions for 570 yards receiving and 22 total touchdowns. He also contributed 505 kick return yards and a touchdown on special teams.
