Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are signing guard Isame Faciane to a contract on Saturday.
This comes just a few days after the news that Ted Larsen could miss a portion of the year with a biceps injury.
Faciane, 26, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Florida International back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the Vikings’ 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie year but was later added to the team’s practice squad.
The Vikings elected to bring him back Faciane back on a future/reserve contract back in January of last year before waiving him at the start of the season. He was on and off of the Vikings’ practice squad before eventually catching on with the Bills and finishing out the year in Buffalo.
Faciane has yet to appear in an NFL game.
