Dolphins Sign G Jeff Linkenbach & Jacques McClendon

Update:

The Miami Dolphins announced the signing of offensive lineman Jeff Linkenbach and Jacques McClendon on Wednesday.

McClendon, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Colts back in 2010. He has played for a number of teams since entering the NFL including the Lions, Steelers, Falcons, and Jaguars.

In 2014, McClendon appeared in 12 games for the Jaguars and played a total of 211 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

The Miami Dolphins are signing veteran G Jeff Linkenbach to a contract, according to his agent Andy Simms.

Barry Jackson of Miami Herald reported last night that the Dolphins were bringing in several free agent offensive linemen for workouts on Wednesday including Linkenbach and former Vikings G Jeff Baca

Linkenbach, 27, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati back in 2010. He wound up spending four years in Indianapolis before signing on with the Chiefs as an an unrestricted free agent last year.

In 2014, Linkenback appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and played a total of 225 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
