Dolphins Signing Veteran TE Anthony Fasano

Jeff Darlington reports that the Dolphins are signing veteran TE Anthony Fasano.

Fasano, 32, is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2006. He spent two years in Dallas before he was traded to the Dolphins in return for a fourth-round pick.

Fasano played five seasons for the Dolphins before joining the Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent in 2013. The Titans signed him to a contract a few years ago and was once again testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Fasano appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and caught eight passes for 83 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 15 tight end out of 63 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2017 Free Agents list.
