Dolphins Starting Ryan Tannehill In Week 12

Dolphins HC Adam Gase announced Tuesday that Ryan Tannehill will start at quarterback for them against the Colts in Week 12.

Tannehill was seen throwing passing during the portion open to the media on Tuesday and Gase said he made “all the throws he needed to make” on Sunday.

According to Gase, he has told Brock Osweiler to stay ready, per Armando Salguero.

Tannehill returns from a capsule issue in his shoulder after missing more than a month.

Tannehill, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2012. He’s currently in the third year of his six-year, $95.272 million contract that includes $45 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $17.47 million and $18.725 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Tannehill has appeared in five games for the Dolphins and thrown for 972 yards while completing 65.9 percent of his passes to go along with eight touchdowns and five interceptions.
