Dolphins To Meet With WR Greg Jennings

According to ESPN’s Trey Wingo, the Dolphins will meet with veteran WR Greg Jennings at some point in the near future.

  • Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review reported Saturday night that the Panthers hosted Jennings for a visit on Saturday.
  • Jonathan Jones reports that nothing is imminent between the Panthers and Jennings, who expects to take even more visits.

Miami is clearly taking a look at their available options at receiver in free agency, as they hosted WR Michael Crabtree for a visit last week.

This is the first reported visit for Jennings since he was released by the Vikings in a move that freed up $5 million in cap space.

Jennings, 31, appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and caught 59 receptions for 742 yards receiving and six touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 48 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.
