Dolphins Waive DE Farrington Huguenin With Injury Designation

The Miami Dolphins officially placed DE Farrington Huguenin on waivers Tuesday with an injury designation.

Should Huguenin clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.

Huguenin, 24, wound up signing on with the Dolphins back in May after going undrafted out of Kentucky. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Dolphins and is set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.

During his college career, Huguenin recorded 97 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and three pass defenses.
