Dolphins Waive DT C.J. Mosley From Injured Reserve

The Miami Dolphins waived veteran DT C.J. Mosley from the injured reserve list on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Miami waived Mosley with the injury designation a few weeks ago to make room for DT Robert Thomas, who was being signed off the Patriots’ practice squad. He later reverted to the injured reserve list after clearing waivers.

Mosley, 32, signed a one-year, $1.05 million contract that included an $80,000 signing bonus with the Dolphins back in June. He was set to make a base salary of $970,000 for the 2015 season.

This season, Mosley has appeared in 11 games and recorded seven tackles and no sacks for Miami.
