Dolphins Cut Five Players Including WR Robert Herron & LB Terrell Manning

The Miami Dolphins announced Thursday that they’ve placed four players on waivers including DB Damarr Aultman, WR Tyler Davis, WR Robert Herron and DT Robert Thomas II.

Miami signed Herron and Manning to future/reserve contracts back in January.

Herron, 23, was take in sixth round of last year’s draft by the Buccaneers. However, he was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and later ended up on Tampa Bay’s injured reserve list.

The Buccaneers later granted him his release before he signed on to the Dolphins’ practice squad in October.

In 2014, Herron appeared in eight games for the Bucs and caught six passes for 58 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Manning, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Green Bay Packers back in 2012. However, he lasted just one year with the team before he was placed on waivers.

Since then, Manning has played for a number of teams including the Chargers, Vikings, Giants, Dolphins, Bears, Bengals, and the Falcons.

In 2014, Manning appeared in four games and has recorded a single tackle.
