Dolphins Waive LB Justin March-Lillard

The Miami Dolphins announced Tuesday that they’ve waived LB Justin March-Lillard to make room for reinstated LB Lawrence Timmons.

March-Lillard, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.585 million contract with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Akron back in 2015. He has managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two years in the NFL but was waived by the Chiefs coming out of the preseason.

The Dolphins later claimed him off of waivers.

March-Lillard stands to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season.

In 2017, March-Lillard has appeared in two games and record one tackle for the Dolphins.
