The Miami Dolphins announced Tuesday that they have waived LB Marcus Thompson.

This move comes just hours after the Dolphins announced the signing of veteran G Daryn Colledge Monday night.
Thompson, 23, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers. He put together an impressive pro day that included 40 times of 4.57 and 4.60.
Last year, Thompson recorded 51 tackles, including 7.5 for loss, and 5.5 sacks for Rutgers.
