Dolphins Waive RT Jason Fox

The Miami Dolphins announced Tuesday that they’ve waived RT Jason Fox.

Fox, 27, signed a two-year, $2.5 million contract with the Dolphins last year, but his 2015 season was largely disappointing. He made a base salary of $770,000 this season and was set to make another $1.28 million in 2016.

According to OverTheCap.com, cutting white would free up $1,380,000 in cap space while also creating $162,500 in dead money.

In 2015, Fox appeared in 15 games for the Dolphins and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 73 tackle out of 76 qualifying players.
