The Miami Dolphins announced the signing of TE Tim Semisch and that they’ve placed waived veteran TE Ryan Taylor on waivers to make room for him.

Taylor, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2011 out of North Carolina. He spent the first three years of his career with the Packers before he was waived in October of last year.
The Ravens later claimed him off of waivers, but he only lasted a few weeks with Baltimore before he was once again released.
The Browns also took a chance on Taylor, claiming off waivers from the Ravens, although they too waived after just a few months.
Miami wound up signing Taylor to a contract back in February, but it appears as though they would prefer to see what some of their younger players can offer.
Taylor has been a regular special-teams contributor since entering the NFL. He appeared in 13 games this season, but never caught a single pass.
