Dolphins Waiving Former 2nd-Rd DT Jordan Phillips

Armando Salguero reports that the Dolphins are waiving DT Jordan Phillips on Tuesday.

Mike Garafolo confirms the news and adds that Phillips hadn’t seen much playing time in recent weeks and he wasn’t happy being subbed out the other day

Phillips, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $4,362,908 contract and set to make a base salary of $1,029,942 for the 2018 season.

In 2018, Phillips appeared in four games for the Dolphins and recorded five tackles, one sack and a pass defense.
