Dolphins Waiving OL Billy Turner

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Dolphins have informed OL Billy Turner that he’s being placed on waivers Tuesday.

The Dolphins’ offensive line has really struggled this season, so it shouldn’t come as a big surprise to see some changes being made up front.

Turner, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.1 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $686,750 for the 2016 season.

In 2016, Turner has appeared in all five games for the Dolphins and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 75 offensive tackle out of 76 qualifying players.
