Dolphins Want Ryan Tannehill To Start The Season As A Backup

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald writes that first-round pick Ryan Tannehill has been receiving “very few” reps with the Dolphins first-offense during minicamp.

This coincides with several other reports that the team has been giving David Garrard and Matt Moore most of the work to this point. Every indication suggests that one of these two players will be under center at the start of the 2012 season for Miami. Tannehill could get a shot later in the season, especially if the team starts to struggle and pile up losses.
