Dolphins Worked Out DB Al Louis-Jean

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Miami Dolphins brought in DB Al Louis-Jean for a workout on Saturday.

The Dolphins were reportedly taking a look at defensive backs this morning, but this is the first name mentioned that we’ve seen up to this point.

Louis-Jean, 22, signed on with the Bears an an undrafted free agent out of Boston College last year. He was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but he later signed to the team’s practice squad and wound up appearing in a number of games last season.

The Bears elected to re-sign Louis-Jean to a two-year contract back in February of last year, but he was unfortunately among their roster cuts at the start of the season.

The Redskins signed him to a future/reserve contract in January, only to waive him shortly after this year’s draft.

In 2014, Louis-Jean recorded nine tackles and a pass defense over the course of nine games for the Bears.
