Dolphins Worked Out Four Including QB Paxton Lynch

According to Howard Balzer, the Miami Dolphins brought in four free agents for workouts this week, including QB Paxton Lynch.

The full list of tryouts for the Dolphins includes:

  1. WR Brice Butler
  2. WR Tavarres King
  3. WR Tre McBride
  4. QB Paxton Lynch

Of this group, the Dolphins signed Butler to their active roster.

Lynch, 24, was taken with the No. 26 overall pick after the Broncos traded up from No. 31 overall to get him in 2016 NFL Draft. Lynch signed a four-year, $9.4 million contract that includes $7.88 guaranteed and was set to make a base salary of $1.31 million this season when the Broncos waived him coming out of the preseason.

He has worked out for several teams since becoming a free agent including the Titans, Seahawks, JaguarsBills, Lions, Eagles, Buccaneers and Redskins. 

In 2017, Lynch appeared in two games for the Broncos and completed 66.7 percent of his passes to go along with two touchdowns and three interceptions. He also rushed for 30 yards.
