Dolphins Worked Out Three Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Miami Dolphins tried out three running backs on Wednesday including Russell Hansbrough, Kalif Phillips, and Brandon Radcliff.

Of this group, the Dolphins elected to sign Radcliff to their practice squad.

The Dolphins’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. QB Brandon Doughty
  2. TE Thomas Duarte
  3. OT Sean Hickey
  4. WR Malcolm Lewis
  5. DE Cameron Malveaux
  6. WR Drew Morgan
  7. DT Gabe Wright
  8. WR Kolby Listenbee
  9. RB Brandon Radcliff

Hansbrough, 24, signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri back in 2016. The Buccaneers elected to waive him coming out of the preseason and he was on and off of the team’s practice squad for much of the season.

After a brief stint with the Giants, the Buccaneers signed him to their active roster to finish out the 2016 season.

Hansbrough was once again waived coming out of the preseason and spent a month on the Buccaneers’ practice squad.

In 2016, Hansbrough appeared in two games for the Buccaneers but did not record a statistic.

During his four-year college career, Hansbrough recorded 467 rushing attempts for 2,344 yards (5.0 YPC) and 15 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 30 receptions for 128  receiving yards (4.3 YPC).
