Donald Trump’s Insists His Interest In Buying The Bills Is Real

Donald Trump’s name surfaced as a potential buyer for the Buffalo Bills close to two weeks ago, and despite some skepticism that regarding his true interest in purchasing the team, he insists that he committed to acquiring the franchise.

“I’m going to give it a heavy shot,” Trump told the Tim Graham of the Buffalo News. “I would love to do it, and if I can do it I’m keeping it in Buffalo.”

Graham also confirmed with “multiple sources” that Trump has spoken to Bills President and CEO Russ Brandon on two separate occasions.

Trump added that he isn’t willing to spend an exorbitant amount of money to acquire the team.

“Somebody could come out and bid through the roof for the Bills, something crazy,” Trumpe said. “In which case, I’m sorry I can’t do anything about that. You have to be sane. But maybe there’s not going to be any other bids. You never know with these things.”

Reports from last week mentioned that Jon Bon Jovi ix expected to be among the interested suitors for the Bills.

NFL franchises don’t come up for sale that often, so I’m sure the Bills have plenty more interest than these two notable figures.
