Donovan McNabb Has Lost “15 to 20 Pounds” In Hopes Of Securing A Job

Free agent QB Donovan McNabb joined SportsCenter this morning and mentioned that he’s lost “15 to 20 pounds” in recent weeks while working with quarterbacks’ coach George Whitfield.

McNabb has been in terrible shape in recent year’s, so it makes sense for him to start there before actively trying to find a job in the NFL. The problem for him, is that he’s 35 and the fact that he waited so long to address his conditioning seems like a terrible miscalculation on his part. I’d be surprised to see him find work as a backup at this point, but injuries can change a team’s plans very quickly, so there’s still a remote chance he could be back.
