Donovan McNabb Will Only Cost The Vikings One Sixth-Round Pick

Tom Pelissero ESPN 1500 Twin Cities reports that a league has mentioned that former Vikings QB Donovan McNabb didn’t meet the “minimum playtime threshold” last season which means that they will not have to send their 2013 sixth-round pick to the Washington Redskins for him.

McNabb wound up playing 33.6% of the team’s snaps in 2012 which was reportedly close to the threshold but that could have had something to do with the team’s decision to turn the offense over to rookie QB Christian Ponder.

Minnesota will only be required to send their 2012 sixth-round pick to Washington to complete the deal.
