Dwight Freeney Out For Sunday’s Game Against The Vikings

The Indianapolis Colts have ruled out Dwight Freeney for their Week 2 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

Freeney was been dealing with a high-ankle sprain that he suffered during last week’s loss to the Chicago Bears. Typically this injury costs a player anywhere from 4-6 weeks, so his status for the coming weeks will remain questionable.

The Colts defense was already a questionable unit even with Freeney, so it will be interesting to see if they are able to stop Adrian Peterson at all this weekend.
