Eagles Agree To Terms With CB Cary Williams & S Kenny Phillips

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that they have reached agreement with CB Cary Williams and S Kenny Phillips.

  • Mike Garafolo reports that Cary Williams receives a three years deal worth $16.5 million.
  • Adam Schefter reports that Willams receives $10.5 million guaranteed.
  • Chris Mortensen reports that Williams receives a three-year contract while Phillips signed a one-year deal.

The Eagles, like the Seahawks, have done a great job of limiting the amount of news circulating to the media last few days. They also signed Patrick Chung and Bradley Fletcher a few days ago, so they’re clearly targeting upgrades for their secondary. These players come with some question marks, but have enough talent that they could easily be an improved unit.

We had Phillips listed as the No. 30 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list and Williams as our No. 52 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
