Eagles Brought In RB Kenjon Barner For A Visit

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Philadelphia Eagles brought in former Panthers RB Kenjon Barner for a visit this week.

Eagles RB Chris Polk is dealing with a hamstring injury, so this could be them doing their due diligence regarding available options in the event Polk ends up missing an extended period of time.

Barner, 25, came over in a trade with the Panthers back in August. The deal would have sent a 2015 conditional seventh round pick if Barner was on Eagles active roster for at least four games, but he last just a few weeks with the team before he was ultimately waived with an injury settlement.

He was taken in the sixth round of the 2013 draft by the Panthers.

Last year, Barner rushed for seven yards on six carries while catching two passes for seven yards, and contributing 17 yards as a kick returner.
