According to Marcus Hayes, Eagles special teams ace Chris Maragos is believed to have a torn PCL, but the good news is that his ACL appears to be intact.
Maragos is scheduled to undergo an MRI Friday to determine the severity of the injury.
Maragos, 30, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin back in 2010. He spent just over a year with the 49ers before he was waived and later and later signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad.
It wasn’t until 2014 that Maragos joined the Eagles. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $7.5 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $1.75 million and $2 million over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2017, Maragos has appeared in all six games and recorded 11 tackles for the Eagles.
