ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets that the Eagles, Falcons and Saints are “all in play” when it comes to signing former Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo to be their defensive coordinator.
There hasn’t been a lot of news regarding Spagnuolo in recent days but that could have something to do with the teams weighing their options. Still, Spagnuolo has some pretty serious suitors that are all in need of help on the defensive side of the ball so I wouldn’t expect things to take much longer.
The Eagles are still considering whether or not to bring back DC Juan Castillo for another season. If he’s let go, the Minnesota Vikings have said that they would be interested in speaking with him about their defensive coordinator position.
