Eagles Fielding Trade Offers For DE Taylor Hart

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Eagles have been shopping DE Taylor Hart for trade offers and have spoken with a few teams about a potential deal.

Hart, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2014. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2,435,512 rookie contract, which included a $215,512 signing bonus.

Hart will make base salaries of $600,000 and $690,000 over the next two years.

According to OverTheCap.com, trading Hart would free up $546,122 in available cap space while creating $107,756 in dead money.

In 2015, Hart appeared in 14 games for the Eagles and recorded 27 tackles and no sacks. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 122 interior defensive lineman out of 123 qualifying players last year.
