Eagles Free Agent Brandon Graham Reportedly Seeking Four-Year Deal Worth $30M

According to Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly.com, Eagles free agent DE/OLB Brandon Graham is seeking a four-year deal in the $30 million neighborhood, with $20 million guaranteed.

Mosher reported a few months ago that the Eagles approached him about a contract extension, and even extended him a four-year offer. However, the two sides were “far apart” and there hasn’t been any reported progress since then.

Graham could end up being one of the most sought after edge rushers in this year’s free agent class, which will make it difficult for the Eagles to retain him at a reasonable price.

He joins a deep group of free agent outside linebackers that includes: Justin Houston, Pernell McPhee, Jason Worilds, Jabaal Sheard, Brian Orakpo, and Derrick Morgan.

Graham, 26, played out his five-year, $21.925 million rookie contract, which included $14 million guaranteed. This season, Graham will have made a base salary of $1,670,500.

Over the course of 14 games, Graham has recorded 36 tackles, 5.5 sacks and four forced fumbles for the Eagles. Pro Football Focus has Graham rated as the No. 3 outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense this year, which is due in large part to an impressive rating as a pass-rusher.

We have Graham listed as the No. 27 player in our Top 75 Free Agents list.
