Eagles Get Some Good New Regarding Michael Vick

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid told reporters that an MRI revealed that Michael Vick does not have a fracture in his hand which contradicts earlier reports that he suffered a broken right-hand during Sunday’s loss to the Giants.

Instead, Reid mentioned that Vick suffered a contusion and was “relieved” to hear the news but added that his hand is still swollen. Reid said that Vick’s current status is “day to day.”

This will at the very least give him a shot at starting Sunday’s game against the 49ers instead of missing 3-4 weeks like it was initially believed. Although it also means that there will be another “Vick Watch” for week 4. Check back for more updates through the week.
