Eagles Hoping To Sign Seahawks DC Gus Bradley As Their Next Head Coach

Reuben Frank reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley as their “top choice” for their head coaching vacancy.

Bradley is scheduled to be in Philadelphia for a second interview with the Eagles this afternoon, but he is scheduled to meet with the Jaguars on Wednesday as well. The Eagles may try to get him to finalize a deal before the end of the day, which makes sense given that they have already missed out a number of their top candidates.

Geoff Mosher reports that Tuesday’s meeting between the two sides is “a continuation” of Saturday’s interview.

This isn’t a done deal, but if Bradley gets the job, there’s already some speculation floating around that he may look to trade for Matt Flynn to add some more depth at the quarterback position.

The Eagles also considering Falcons DC Mike Nolan, Colts OC Bruce Arians, Lovie Smith, Bengals OC Jay Gruden, Falcons ST coordinator Keith Armstrong for the job.
